It took me a long time to write this post. But Now it would be not only theory, but my own near half a year practice!
So in February I decided to stop using common shampoos, which are now very advertised. I simply believe that we became very dependent on all that "cosmetic chemistry". It looks like we cannot survive without it.
But! Our grandmas could manage somehow without it!
So I tried to care my hair only with methods our grandmas used.
First one is egg yolk. It is a major source of vitamins (A, D, E, K), fatty acids, protein for your hair and skin. It is better to use home-eggs. (They usually have more vitamins than eggs from hennery, have more positive energy, and are more natural. It's logical! Simply think by yourself, imagine, compare and make your own conclusion - which eggs can a hen lay , the one that lives in hennery like in prison, never sees sun or the one that walks on the grass, sees sun each day, feels herself free. You can even see this difference - yolk from hennery is pale, and domestic yolk is saturated orange)
Now I have halfback long hair (It grows near 1 sm a month), but it is not very thick yet. So I use usually 3 egg yolks. Some times I can take 4 egg yolks. It depends on thickness and length of your hair and on the level of it's dirtiness. After 1-2 washings you will know the exact amount of egg yolks you need.
There are two methods of washing hair with egg yolk.
The first one. You take a basin, pour warm water in it (WARM, not HOT! You remember, that hot water only stir up secretion of sebaceous glands!), put egg yolks and mix them with your hand. You’ll see that foam appears in the basin. Then you put your hair in the basin and wash your hair by massaging and rubbing this foam into the scalp. (It is convenient to put a basin on the chair.) Then rinse your hair. (The recipes of rinses see in next posts.)
The second one. You put egg yolks into a cup, mix it with the fork. Then put all this mass on your hair (after 1-2 washings you’ll decide by yourself whether it is better for you to put yolks on dry hair or on wet hair. I put on wet one.) Hold this for 15-20 minutes like mask under polyethylene cap and cover it with towel. Then rinse your hair.
You can choose either 1-st or 2-nd method, but actually they don't differ a lot. You choose the one that is convenient for you. I use 2-nd one.
A lot of people refuse to wash their hair with egg yolk because of it specific smell. I'll tell you latter which rinse to use to remove this smell.
So, summing up, egg yolk provides natural foam that can easily clean your hair. It's like a basic component of your natural shampoo. In the next post I'll tell you what other ingredients you can put to your Natural shampoo to achieve better results.
